Emily Blunt and The Rock featured in a movie named Jungle Cruise that went on to become a blockbuster in 2021. The two played romantic interests in the movie and they had to make out for a brief occasion. Now, the top female actress in the industry opened up about her experience working with The Brahma Bull in that movie and features in that cozy scene.

The two Hollywood stars had a couple of kissing scenes in the film, one under the water. In an interview with E! News two years ago, Emily Blunt spoke on her experience of kissing the former WWE Champion with the following comments,

“Listen, the thing you’re missing out on, you know that feeling you get right after you brush your teeth? And it kind of feels fresh and it’s really nice? That’s not what you’re going to get,” she said. [Quotes courtesy JustJared]

The Rock and Emily Blunt also discussed the scene in an interview with Hollywood Access the same year of the release. The Rock was joking about how it was a “dream come true” moment for the British actress. Then the latter added about laughing after recording the scene. Besides, it was revealed that the actress had to get high before kissing her co-star.

“We did laugh always. I had to get drunk for it [laughs],” she said. “Wow! I had to get high for it. How about that?” The Rock mentioned.

For those who don’t know, Emily Blunt has dated American actor John Krasinski since 2008. Two years later, the two ended up tying the knot in July 2010 and the two also have two daughters. Genuinely, featuring in an intimate scene could be an issue for her husband or family but it’s not.

In an interview with the Mirror in 2021, Emily Blunt opened up about how her husband reacted to her kissing scene with The Rock in Jungle Cruise. It appears that they had a thorough conversation on this kind of professional needs and her husband completely understands it,

“He’s immune to it at this point. That was part of the deal when we got married! Honestly, John is so used to me having to make out with other men.”

The Rock is also married to Lauren Hashian. His daughter from the previous marriage named Simone Johnson is now a WWE Superstar under the name Ava Raine on NXT.
