It was on the October 28 edition of SmackDown that Emma, real name Tenille Dashwood made her WWE return. This was the first time since her release in 2017 that she was featured on a WWE show. One night, she had unsuccessfully answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Title. This also marked the first time that the then-champion defended her title since winning it at Extreme Rules PLE.
After taking Ronda to the limit, Emma was caught with mean antics from the champion to end up being the loser. Many speculated whether she was back in the WWE on a full-time basis but the traveler confirmed the same after shutting down her premium content-based service through OnlyFans.

Emma addressed her WWE return while speaking with Ryan Satin on Out of Character Podcast. She stated that without even realizing it, she had thought of exploring her future opportunities after she was done with IMPACT Wrestling. WWE was also one of the options since Triple H has taken things over and afterward, some amazing developments were noticed by her.

Emma never imagined to get paired with Madcap on Smackdown
It was at this same juncture that Emma’s romantic relationship with WWE Superstar Madcap Moss was revealed on social media. After coming back to the WWE, she was also romantically paired up on-screen with her real-life boyfriend. To date, she still pinches herself from time to time because she is absolutely loving the storyline idea.
“I’m still kind of pinching myself sometimes because I really enjoy what I do. Even Madcap and I, we joked about it so many times, ‘imagine if we worked together’ and all these storylines we joked about and things we would do,” Emma stated.
“And then I actually end up back, on the same show as him, and then in a storyline together, which we had never discussed. We joked about, but we never really thought it would happen and we didn’t discuss it with other people.”
As admitted above, the former Emmalina never expected to feature on TV with Moss in a romantic development but there’s the ‘never say never’ phrase in professional wrestling. Emma even confirmed that they didn’t pitch to be working together but nowadays, she is competing in mixed tag team matches in the WWE with Moss to enjoy some exciting matches.
