Top Impact Wrestling Star Deonna Purrazzo has become engaged to be married to her boyfriend Steve Maclin who also happens to be an Impact star. Both these two were also part of WWE NXT in the past and eventually, these two were released almost at the same time from the contract due to COVID-19 related budget cuts.

Deonna Purrazzo revealed the big news from her personal life via a photo on Twitter with the caption, “LOOK AT MY FIANCÉ.” No details were shared about who made the proposal but the two long-time partners are happily engaged to be married.

Deonna Purrazzo is the current ROH Women’s World Champion and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion who is making a splash in the indie circuit since after leaving the WWE. During last Thursday’s episode of Impact, She successfully defended the ROH Women’s title against Santana Garrett.

Steve Maclin, also known as Steve Cutler in the WWE, was released by the company in February of 2020 who would later make his Impact Wrestling debut in June. As per the reports from Fightful Select, there has been heat on Cutler after he was sidelined from WWE television after contracting COVID-19 in January. It was noted that Vince McMahon was specifically upset about him, and the belief by some people backstage is that it was the reason for the release.

Deonna Purrazzo is a dual champion in Impact

As of now, Maclin is booked to perform at next Saturday’s No Surrender event as part of Team Impact vs. Team Honor No More. As of this writing, Deonna Purrazzo is not scheduled to be a part of the pay-per-view. The current card for the event is available here.

Back in January 13 Impact Wrestling episode saw Deonna Purrazzo defeat Rok-C to win the ROH Women’s Title. Purrazzo’s AAA Reina de Reinas Title was also hanging in the balance in the “Winner Takes All” main event. The match was taped on Sunday in Dallas, Texas.

Via that win, Deonna Purrazzo became the second ROH Women’s World Champion. Rok-C was the inaugural champion as she defeated Miranda Alize in the finals of a 15-woman tournament back at Death Before Dishonor XVIII on September 12.
