What To Expect From Tonight’s Smackdown Live: June 13, 2017

This episode is going to be the go home show of Smackdown Live for the Money in the Bank PPV. One of the most exciting events in WWE calendar will be back on this Sunday as a brand exclusive PPV, this year. It will take place at the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Prior to that, we will be witnessing the final hype ups for the event. This edition of Smackdown will be hosted by the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since WWE has treated this city as a special one, always, we can expect this episode to be an explosive one.

Ever since Jinder Mahal has won the WWE Championship, he has not confronted Randy Orton on live television. With Sunday inching closer, these two are finally going to stand face to face in the middle of the ring to hype up the championship match.

Despite Orton having fewer chances to win the championship back in his hometown of Saint Louis, the contender is expected to make a major statement, tonight. The Viper was irate over losing the title against somebody like a Jinder. So, an opportunity to put his hands on the champion will not let go of him.

The women’s division of Smackdown is approached towards the historic match on Sunday. It will be interesting to see which one of the five women gains the upper hand heading into the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Two singles contest was announced for the show on WWE.com. Tamina will get another opportunity to pin Naomi since they will square off in a match. Plus, Charlotte will square off against Natalya in the second women’s match, tonight.

In the original ladder match for the male roster, all the six men will look forward to delivering a major statement. A six-man tag team action has been announced for the show as AJ Styles, Nakamura, and Sami Zayn will team up to take on the team of Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin.

Lastly, The New Day should have a confrontation with the Champions, The Usos. But, prior to that, these two teams will feature in an eight man tag team contest confirmed on by WWE. Breezango will team up with the contenders to take on the champions and The Colons.
