Those who are Kurt Angle fans and were excited to see him returning to the squared circle ring in WWE will not be happy after seeing the headline. It is true that the wrestling icon has wished to hang up his wrestling boots and all set to make his final bow in the ring in anytime soon. As per his wish, he wants to bid the fans goodbye after TNA’s Maximum Impact Tour at the United Kingdom this coming January. Those who are not aware of his current status, he is a regular showstopper at TNA live events and having a contract with them.

The announced was made publicly where a video was showed during TNA’s Impact Wrestling episode where he wished to retire after the UK tour. He obviously got emotional while delivering the message and tried to rejoice some moments from his glittering career.
The 46-year-old was quoted as saying: “I’ve had a great career. I’ve enjoyed every second of it from WWE to TNA. I’m just glad I’m going to be able to do it in the UK.”
The news of Angle’s retirement came about as a surprise and quite interestingly he did not mention the term ‘retirement’ in the video and also went on saying that he will not sign with any other franchise after his contract with TNA expires on January. Rumors are that he will be present as an announcer for the coming Bellator MMA on February 19th if this retirement Rumor turns out to be true.
The legendary wrestler was a six-time World heavyweight champion in WWE and a record six-time TNA World heavyweight champion and also a 1996 Olympic Gold medalist which is a tremendous achievement by an athlete.
