Feuding with the likes of top WWE Superstars like Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley allowed Bianca Belair to move to the top tier of the WWE female talents. She’s been a champion on the Raw brand for almost a year and is moving forward to become the longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion of all time.
The original record in this cadre belongs to Becky Lynch who won the Raw Women’s Title at Wrestlemania 35 and held on to it even beyond Wrestlemania 36, a year later. Belair is approaching breaking the record after eventually winning the title from none other than the Irish superstar, herself at Wrestlemania 38.

The story between these two superstars goes way back, in fact. Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch were engaged in a rivalry on Smackdown for a long time. It began after the latter returned and beat Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2021 in just 26 seconds.

Becky Lynch made her mega return to WWE at Summerslam
At that summer Premium Live Event, Becky Lynch returned after enjoying a one-year hiatus from WWE television. Upon her arrival, he challenged Belair for the title and eventually squashed her in just 26 seconds. Fans all over the world were shocked by the happening as they thought that it might hurt Belair’s strong booking on TV. However, things were totally different in reality.
While speaking on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin, Bianca Belair talked about getting squashed by Becky Lynch at the biggest event of the summer. Per The EST of the WWE, getting squashed by THE MAN was the best thing that could have happened to her career,
“I feel like it all worked out. A lot of that had to do with Becky Lynch too. She is someone who fights for women’s wrestling, but she also fights for others in the locker room.
She had a whole lot to do with bringing it full circle and making it work out the way that it did, and I’ve learned so much from her. In hindsight looking back, that was probably the best thing that could’ve happened to me, right? You can’t be superwoman all the time. You gotta overcome some odds, and I was able to do that.”
Following that loss, Becky Lynch retained her blue brand title against Belair a couple of times but the ultimate Wrestlemania match was reserved between the two in 2022 where Belair defeated her to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. Belair also defeated Big Time Becks in a rematch at Summerslam 2022 to retain her belt.
