WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg is still an active performer even in his fifties. On the occasion of bigger pay-per-view events, WWE gives him a call to perform in those in marquee matches. After all, he is a legend in the pro wrestling business and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon considers him to be a bigger draw than most of the main roster performers.
After making a name for himself during his WCW stint, Goldberg was away from the squared circle for a long time. There were speculations of him joining any of the companies available in the professional wrestling turf but it took him 13 long years to do so. It seems that the legend didn’t quite like the pro wrestling ring, back in the days.
AJ Styles Reveals The Best Match Of His WWE Career
WWE recently released its latest documentary on the WWE Network named “Goldberg at 54“. While speaking on that documentary, The Myth addressed his past comments about pro wrestling. He genuinely had negative thoughts about competing inside that ring and now he regrets appreciating the world of pro wrestling in the past.

Goldberg appreciates pro-wrestling nowadays than past
As per the comments from the former Universal Champion, he loves pro wrestling far more nowadays in comparison to the past.
“It’s been a weird deal, the wrestling. It’s because my love of it has grown exponentially throughout the years and I would have thought that wouldn’t have been the case by any stretch. I didn’t appreciate it as much as I do now when I got in it by any stretch. So it gives me a completely different perspective.
I wish I would have had this perspective on it back in the day, but then again, I wouldn’t have been Goldberg. I guess there’s a reason why things happen and there’s a reason why you are the person that you are because you’re a product of your environment. That’s why I’m so chill now. I’m Goldberg the farmhand.”
The former WCW franchise player is still under contract with WWE for two matches a year and the company is also filing for some interesting trademark, recently. We will have to see when Goldberg makes his way back to a WWE ring for a match, next but it’s confirmed that the return will happen in 2021.
Goldberg hasn’t been announced as a part of WrestleMania 37 yet, but he still has his obligatory second match of the year, due. He wrestled Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble 2021 with the WWE Championship on the line to come up short. Thus, McIntyre became one of the very few superstars to pin this protected superstar.
