We witnessed a monumental contest at the bygone Super ShowDown PPV. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg made his return to in-ring action on the show hosted in Saudi Arabia against none other than The Undertaker. It was an indeed mouth-watering bout that failed to live up to the hypes. The match filled up with several botches might have signaled the end for Goldberg which may not be the case.

Many believed that the former WCW franchise would not dare to compete inside the squared circle, ever again. He busted himself open during Super ShowDown that led to unconsciousness. So the match turned out to be disastrous which The Undertaker had to finish with a hideous looking chokeslam. But reports suggest that Goldberg still has very much chances to come back and have a match with Roman Reigns!
As per the reports from the Dirty Sheets Podcast, WWE was happy to bring back Goldberg who’s agreed to work three consecutive WWE PPVs in Saudi Arabia. WWE was in search of a legend’s service for hosting PPV shows in this particular country. After going through with the match against The Undertaker, Goldberg was set to team up with Roman Reigns at the next Saudi Arabia PPV. This would plant the seeds for a one-on-one contest between these two superstars in next year’s Saudi Arabia PPV. It would culminate the unthinkable lineup of Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns. “Goldberg’s next match in Saudi Arabia would’ve taken place at the November PPV, where he would have teamed up with “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns to take on the team of the “Best In The World” Shane McMahon and a partner of his choosing.
After this, the plan was to book a WWE Championship match between Goldberg & Roman Reigns at the May/June 2020 Saudi Arabia PPV (no word on who was planned to be the WWE Champion heading into this match).”
Now there’s no confirmed news that Goldberg has announced his retirement after the botched match at Super ShowDown. In fact, he may be fuming inside for disappointing the fans after getting paid so much for a match. So we can expect him to make a comeback in due course.

So The Myth will have to compete against names other than The Phenome.
