A big rumor has surfaced around the internet which suggests that we might end up getting a Fatal-4-way match at the next year’s Wrestlemania. Previously it was rumored that we are all set to witness the due match between Undertaker and John Cena at Wrestlemania 33.
However, this speculation surfaced when Goldberg recently remarked that his preferred opponent at Wrestlemania will be none but the Phenome. The legendary sting has inducted to the Hall of Fame at this year’s induction ceremony but has never officially declared his retirement. Plus, in a recent episode of Legends with JBL, he admitted that he still has some unfinished business with the Undertaker and he will like to finish it.
In his own words, “That’s the unfinished business — I’ve always wanted to have that match, and I know that wrestling fans have always wanted to see it too.”
Considering that WWE might not get another chance to arrange a face-off of these superstars separately, we might end up getting the huge Fatal-4-way match at next year’s Wrestlemania.
Brock Lesnar is also in the mix since he is the automatic choice as Goldberg’s opponent if he does show up in the near future. Goldberg admitted the fact too by saying, “No matter how old I am and you never say never but I mean it’s getting close to that clock kind of stopping on me but I mean you know you never seen we need one more in may. Man, I still can do it at 49. Brock, you’re next.”
We have seen Undertaker last in the match against Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania 32. Earlier reports suggested that he was not happy at all with the fact that Vince McMahon told him to digest a loss against Shane in the match. He won the match in the end but Shane stole the show.
