Natalya is someone who had witnessed multiple eras of female wrestling throughout all these years. Entering the fray in the late Ruthless Aggression era, she became a champion in the Divas era and then in the era when the Women’s Revolution was in full force in the last decade. Women’s matches were stealing shows and main event spots and she was one of the mainstays in the scenario.

Featuring in gimmick matches, getting their own pay-per-views, or middling the event posters were something those were never noticed before.

Speaking about the efforts shown by the women in an interview with the Toronto Sun, Natalya couldn’t help but think about her predecessors who’d paved the way for them to gather courage and keep going. Her uncle Bret Hart, The Hitman, worked very hard and earn every chance throughout his career.

“When I think about courage, I think about Bret’s courage to stand up for what he believes in,” Natalya said. “Even knowing that it could cost him everything. He’s always had a good insight to know when to fight and to know when to be quiet. Bret worked at a time when talent flying off the handle was rampant in the business.”

Natalya holds uncountable records in the WWE Women’s Division

Natalya tried to live up to the legacy of Harts and lived up to it. There’s no other woman in WWE history who’s been under contract with the company for this long. She has wrestled more matches, most matches at WrestleMania, most pay-per-view matches and the list just goes on. This also shows that she is the most adaptable talent in the company’s history given she’s currently in her 16th year.

“When I look at people that have had longevity in the company, there’s really only a handful,” Natalya said. “Of course, you have Triple H and you know Stephanie McMahon. I mean, Stephanie was born and raised in it, just like myself. But if you think about the people who have come and gone since I broke into the WWE, I’m really proud of my staying power.”

Moreover, her work ethic is so good that the WWE often relies on her to gear up young women for their next major move in the company. Natalya has successfully been doing the job of putting over other talents for years without thinking about her own status. For her, she’s blessed to be working with all these talents as per the requirement of the company.

“I take a look at where I’m at in my career and you know what’s exciting? I can tear the house down with a veteran for 30 minutes like when I get in the ring with say a Bayley or Becky Lynch or I can help a rookie get through their first five minutes,” Natalya continued.

“I really pride myself on being ready to wrestle anyone, anywhere, anytime, and make it work and make it great. I think that’s how you serve the show and not get lost in thinking it’s the other way around. For me, that’s why I’ve had the longevity that I’ve had in WWE. Sometimes I really think of my value in so many ways that I don’t think other people really even realize or recognize.”

In the end, it’s the good work, good health, and consistency that had already etched Natalya Neidhart into the history books on many occasions including becoming the longest-tenured run by a woman in WWE history. The run is certainly going strong as the Queen of Harts has no intention to slow down, anytime soon.
