Trish Stratus was announced to team up with Lita and Becky Lynch against Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 39 in a six-woman tag team match to delight her fanbase.
As noted above, Trish Stratus previously retired from wrestling for the second time after losing to Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019 in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. But she couldn’t stick to those words, mainly because of the opportunities the WWE could offer these days in opposition to her heyday.

Trish Stratus recently told SI.com that she will continue to return to WWE, “if it’s fun.” Speaking about what made her step out of retirement for the latest WrestleMania match, the WWE Legend noted that she loved helping the newer generation superstars in what can be attributed as “passing the torch” legacy in WWE.
“I’ll only come back if it’s fun. I’m taking time away from my businesses and my babies. I love passing the torch and passing on my knowledge. It’s the little things that make a superstar. Was I the greatest wrestler? I don’t know, but I knew how to make people take notice,” Trish Stratus continued.
“I loved that about working with Charlotte. When you hear Sasha Banks or Charlotte or Nattie [Natalya Neidhart] talk about our influence, that makes me go, “Oh s—. I want to keep doing this, and now with them.”

Trish Stratus started regular appearances for Raw in early 2023
It was on February 27, 2023, edition of WWE Raw that Trish Stratus returned to WWE to help Lita and Lynch win the Women’s Tag Team Titles from Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of DAMAGE CTRL. After evening the odds with Bayley at ringside, singles match with the DAMAGE CTRL leader was speculated. But eventually, WWE put the three heels against the trio of super babyface figures.
