Candice Michelle is one of the most renowned bombshells from the WWE women’s division in the Ruthless Aggression era. She entered the WWE via the Diva Search contest but was unable to win it. Ultimately, she ended up signing with the company and became a WWE Women’s Champion which was a rare feat, back then. However, her initial failure in the Diva Search bothered her a lot.
As noted by Candice Michelle, being rejected in the entertainment industry at the very beginning was something she felt tough to deal with. Speaking in an interview with WrestlingNews.co, the former WWE Superstar remembered those days when she thought herself to be a no-do-gooder after being unsuccessful at the Diva Search contest.

However, Candice Michelle did receive a full-circle opportunity for herself after receiving a contract from the WWE. She eventually went on to fulfilling her dream to be on TV as a female Superstar which felt good,
“When I got that call a month later, got offered a three-year contract, I realized, ‘Oh, I’m not perfect for the Divas Search, but I was perfect for this job.”
Candice Michelle took pride in receiving beatdowns in the ring
Candice Michelle isn’t known to be a technical wrestler, but per her thoughts, she had one strength in her resume and that’s garnered heat from the audience, more than anybody in the female locker room. She also proceeded to mention that it made her proud to receive a beating inside the ring,
“People can look at my matches and say, ‘She wasn’t the best wrestler. She wasn’t the best this,’ but one of the things I was the best at, I was the best at taking the heat.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Candice Michelle signed with WWE in 2004 and she stayed in the WWE until June 2009. Her greatest achievement in the ring was to become the WWE Women’s Champion. She appeared on WWE television again in 2019 to win the WWE 24/7 Championship after pinning Kelly Kelly backstage. However, she was then submitted by Alundra Blayze to drop the title within a few seconds.
On that night, July 22, 2019, Candice Michelle returned to WWE during the Raw Reunion episode to feature in a backstage segment with Melina, Naomi, and 24/7 Champion Kelly Kelly. This was her first appearance on WWE after a decade. Later on, she expressed her desire to be in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. However, WWE is yet to consider her for the opportunity.
