Rhea Ripley is one of the incredible discoveries made by the WWE in this decade as she has the potential to carry the women’s division in the future for a long time. After clinching all the gold that NXT and NXT UK divisions had to offer, she arrived on the main roster in style and picked up a championship gold in her first official match at Wrestlemania 37.
Thanks to her popularity due to her unique mannerisms, Rhea Ripley has certainly become one of the top female WWE Superstars right now. Being a dedicated athlete, she continues to hone her craft and get into an even more improved position. Her fierce attitude doesn’t keep the male superstars safe as they often feel the wrath of The Nightmare.
In the past, Rhea Ripley has physically assaulted several male WWE superstars, including Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, AJ Styles, Edge, and Rey Mysterio. Plus, she once also defeated Akira Tozawa in a singles contest which insinuated the possibility of her competing in more intergender matches in the WWE.
WWE Raw: Rhea Ripley Uses F-Word On Her Most Lovable Thing With Dominik Mysterio
Rhea Ripley wants to face Edge and Rey Mysterio
Rhea Ripley herself endorsed intergender matches in the WWE and she also has her own choices of athletes that she would love to face in the future. Of course, Dominik’s father Rey Mysterio remains a favorite pick for her due to the natural beef between the two. Then WWE Hall of Famer Edge will also be on the list since the veteran once bossed her while forming the foundation for Judgment Day.
“Obviously I would love to beat some sense into [Dominik’s] deadbeat father. I think me versus Rey Mysterio would be absolutely amazing, and I would put him in his place,” Rhea Ripley stated while talking to Riju Dasgupta.
“Then there’s also Edge. I would love to face Edge. He was the leader of The Judgment Day at one point, and Mami don’t like getting bossed around by anyone. I don’t like feeling like I have someone in charge, and that’s why The Judgment Day works so well now. So, I still have a lot of pent-up aggression against Edge that I would love to get out.”
Randy Orton once featured in one of the most unforgettable moments of her WWE career when she planted Nia Jax with an RKO during the 2019 Royal Rumble match. This automatically dragged Rhea Ripley into the mix and she didn’t oppose the idea of facing the 14-time world champion, either.
