Previously Stardust aka Cody Rhodes had given a hint on Twitter that the character of Stardust is coming to an end. Now in a Q & A session on the social network site, while asked by a fan he said that his former self Cody Rhodes would never appear on WWE again, and stated that his former character was a thing of the past, according to wrestlingINC.com.
100% will not see Cody again. That book has closed https://t.co/AlOX1F4NCu

After that previous tweet, it was thought that his previous character of Cody Rhodes is scheduled to come back soon as fans want the talented wrestler in his own form and not as the prince of dark matters with the “Cody” chant filled all over the arena. But, now that Stardust is with no storyline and Cody is not coming back it’s quite evident that Cody’s contract, as well as his career, is in jeopardy.
Thank you for the questions. Its for a most noble cause. I’ll leave you with this… pic.twitter.com/Y4UNOcBvr9

Stardust, whose real name is Cody Runnels, began his WWE career under the name Cody Rhodes on RAW back in 2007 and made quite a name for himself as a part of The Legacy from 2008 to 2010.
As a champion, he is quite successful winning two Intercontentinal Championships, two Tag Team Championships, three World Tag Team Championships and even a Slammy Award before he adopted the persona of Stardust in the year 2014 to resemble his bizarre brother Dustin Rhodes aka Goldust and formed a tag team.
But, since then we saw nothing but the downfall for him as a superstar except for his much-publicized feud with Arrow star Stephen Amell, who defeated him on an episode of RAW last May. Stardust even stole the Slammy award for Amell who won the Celebrity moment of the year last December. This rivalry is not over yet as they are set to clash again at the Dallas Comic Con this February which hopefully will give him a boost to his career.
