Not everyone in the WWE Universe cares about Ronda Rousey, these days but there could have to be a big void if she leaves the company. With rumors ongoing about her departure following Summerslam, many believe that she will indeed compete in her final pro-wrestling match against Shayna Baszler but that may not be the case.
While speaking to Inside the Ropes, it was Shayna Baszler who gave some insight about Ronda Rousey’s career and future in the WWE. The Queen of Spades made it clear that she will beat up her former bestie at SummerSlam. But knowing her well, Baszler also doubts whether the former Raw Women’s Champion will permanently leave WWE after the loss,
“I mean if I have anything to say about it on Saturday, Ronda is going to leave and she will need help getting out of there. But if I know anything about Ronda, and I know Ronda better than anyone, it’s not the last that we will see of her. Whether it’s next week or next year, it is not the last that we will see of her. We’ll see what happens.”

Soon after her return to the WWE after a brief hiatus following Wrestlemania 39, Ronda Rousey was admittedly open about having the much-anticipated feud with her tag team bestie Shayna Baszler. As they won the women’s tag team titles and eventually clubbed those belts with the NXT women’s tag team titles, the belief was that the pair would be having a strong run as champions.
But within two weeks of winning the dual set of belts, the team of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler fell apart, owing to a big betrayal. The latter turned on her former MMA Four Horsewomen partner to start a fresh feud in a hurried manner. WWE was forced to commence the program as they knew that one of them is leaving, soon. But the updated news is that the leave would be on a temporary basis.
