Speaking to the Metro newspaper in the UK, Jinder Mahal talked about a potential return to WWE. He is currently eyeing a valiant spot at Wrestlemania 36, next year.
Upon getting asked for a comeback, Jinder Mahal stated that he is looking to return at the time of Royal Rumble. It’s a good thing since he could be added to the mix when Wrestlemania season kicks off. So he is pretty confident about capturing more championships after returning to the squared circle.
“I look forward to capturing more championships when I get back from this knee surgery in a couple of months,” The Modern Day Maharaja said. “‘The recovery’s going well – I just started squatting a couple of weeks ago.
It’s an improvement, it is a bit of slow recovery – a tendon heals really slow just because there’s not much blood flow going to it. Overall, rehab is going well and I look forward to coming back to WWE.” (courtesy wrstlingINC.com)
The next edition of WWE WrestleMania is set to be held in the hometown of Jinder Mahal that is in the hometown of Tampa Bay, Florida.
This makes the occasion even more special for the superstar having roots in India,
“I’m always excited to see which city will host it. So this year I couldn’t be more excited because I actually live in Tampa, I’ve lived here for the past 10 years. So, it’s almost become my second home – so I get to witness a spectacle like WrestleMania in my home. I’m excited to take part this year!”
