John Cena has done everything in the WWE that a pro-wrestler can possibly ask for. Only a handful of names might get closer to the former franchise player of the WWE when it comes to achieving accolades in his career. But it seems like that he could not have done it without some superstitious beliefs.
It’s pretty often that we see superstars are going through some strange rituals just to have success in their respective sports. In the mainstream world, millions of such examples are available.
Will John Cena compete at Wrestlemania?
It appears that the scripted world of pro-wrestling is not out of that. Plus, one of the most popular superstars of all-time also has a superstition to follow while competing in a match.
Major announcement for 2020 Elimination Chamber
John Cena was recently appeared as a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show to speak on a myriad of topics. One of those was his pre-match superstition as brought up by the host Clarkson.
He joked about how having a bad smell could cause a negative impact on his opponent. So it looks like that Cena tried to have good breath during all of his matches.
So the former WWE Champion admitted that he had a nag of taking tic tac before a match. It has become a ritual for him while wrestling that also helped out with his nerves.
It even reached a point where he admittedly had to ‘ween himself off of them.’ Check out more fro. Her surprising revelation, (courtesy sescoops.com)
“My thing was always Tic Tacs. It’s a nervous superstition that I always have before we go on a broadcast. And I’ve had to ween myself off of them because I got up to three boxes a day. And that’s, like, right in the 20 minutes before broadcast. It’s pretty much 10,000 calories of straight sugar.”
At present, John Cena is nowhere near to come back to wrestling. He was on a promotion spree for the new movie named ‘Playing with Fire’ which has recently been released around the USA.
