Over the span of the past few days, some of the top WWE NXT Superstars’ contract situation was a matter of discussion for the WWE Universe. As reported earlier, Johnny Gargano was one of those names whose contract with the WWE was scheduled to come to an end at last night’s NXT WarGames event.
As the deal expired last night, there’s no word yet on whether he had re-signed with the company or opted to leave. Gargano’s former tag team partner and bitter rival Tommaso Ciampa (current WWE NXT Champion) wrote the following about Gargano’s contract status on Instagram,
“If tonight is the last time we share a ring together, then I’ve got two words for you… #ThankYou”

Apart from Johnny Gargano, another top WWE NXT talent Kyle O’Reilly’s NXT contract is also due to expire in December. According to PWInsider, that day is arriving this week. If Kyle doesn’t come to terms with the company on a new contract, then he will also make his exit like his former Undisputed Era stablemates.
