WWE Hall Of Famer Kane is one of the most iconic characters that we have seen throughout the history of the company, all these years. He is a well-respected figure in the history of professional wrestling who has featured in several memorable moments in the WWE. Only a handful number of superstars were as faithful as him to Vince McMahon.
The uncertainty and presentation around Kane’s character still give the fans goosebumps and they won’t obviously mind seeing him back in the ring for one more match. But given his age, he highly doubts whether he’ll ever take a bump in the ring, again in WWE.
WWE Raw: Championship Match And Former Champion’s In-Ring Return Set
During an interview with The Right View, the 55-year-old Legend reflected on his in-ring future in the WWE. He is still thrilled to be around WWE TV whenever the company needs him. But his age won’t probably allow him to be in the ring, ever again.
“Yeah, I actually don’t do that much anymore. I don’t want to get into a wrestling ring and actually get knocked down because I don’t know if I could get back up at this point,” Kane noted how he’s contended with other roles in the WWE.
“But yes, I still do things occasionally. For instance, WWE recently had SummerSlam, which is WWE’s second biggest event of the year at Nashville at Nissan Stadium, where the Titans play, and I announced the attendance for the evening. It’s awesome for me to just go out and still be a part of it.”

Kane’s age and official duties won’t allow him to compete in WWE
Kane has worked in programs with The Undertaker, Bryan Danielson, and others as a tag team while he has worked in feuds with all the top contemporaries that WWE had to offer in his heyday. Being 55 years old, Kane does manage to stay in shape but that won’t possibly allow him to dance in the ring one last time.
For those who don’t know, Kane, real-name Glen Jacobs has been re-elected as the Mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee, recently. So, his official duties will consume his days for the time being. WWE was in Tennessee for Summerslam and utilized the legend to announce the head-count for the PLE which seems to be way bigger than the actual reported number for that night.
The last time the former WWE Champion Kane was an active in-ring performer was in 2018. He competed in 22 matches that year to move into his duties as the first citizen of Knox County. After that, he only returned for the Men’s Royal Rumble 2021 match before getting inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
