WWE brought in mixed martial arts competitor Monika Klisara under their banner last year and has now converted her into Karmen Petrovic. With this, WWE’s rulebook of keeping things fresh with their stars by handing them new looks and names continues. With the new name sanctioning, it’s also assumed that the new WWE NXT Diva could be up for her TV arrival.
Karmen Petrovic first reported to the WWE Performance Center in 2022 as part of the company’s latest class of recruits. The new name was assigned to her as informed via a Twitter post. The name of Monika Klisara has seemingly been changed to the above-mentioned name which should be the new name for her upcoming in-ring character on NXT TV.

The newly become Karmen Petrovic posted a photo to Twitter showing off her new look. The karate black belt was seen standing in front of a red moon while holding a sword. It appears that she will be portraying some kind of warrior’s role upon her debut on NXT TV. Going by the look, she should be a babyface character.
Karmen Petrovic was part of November 2022 class of WWE PC
Back in 2022 November, Karmen Petrovic was introduced to the WWE world as part of the latest NXT Performance Center class. As revealed in a YouTuve video, the new prospects stood before the NXT audience for their introduction. Those individuals were recruited from a tryout that WWE held during SummerSlam 2022 weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. With this bunch, WWE tried to move away from traditional independent wrestlers in favor of mainstream athletes and entertainers.
Before becoming a resident of the USA, Karmen Petrovic was born and brought up in the Balkans. Then she had to emigrate to Canada to flee from a war situation as a child. She started learning karate at the age of just 5, a sport where she saw success as part of the Canadian national team. According to her, this success as a performer has been “a blessing and a curse.”
Since Karmen Petrovic comes from a UK background, many believe her to be involved in the company’s NXT Europe project. WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently gave an update on the upcoming NXT Europe launch that’s been postponed in light of WWE’s merger with UFC owner Endeavor Group.
