Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle who is a former six times World champion in WWE and a former six times TNA Heavyweight Champion of the World recently talked about the botched Stunner Vince McMahon received from Stone Cold Steve Austin and called it a disaster.
WrestleMania 38 came out with a lot of surprises. The first and the biggest surprise was Steve Austin returning to action after 19 years. On the very next night, the owner of the promotion Vince McMahon himself got involved in a match against Pat McAfee. Mr. McMahon got involved in a match after more than a decade.

McMahon getting involved in a match physically at the age of 76 was a huge deal. And after the match, Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared to give us a glimpse of the Epic Steve Austin – McMahon rivalry which is considered as the biggest feud in the world of professional wrestling. It was definitely an amazing moment to see a little glimpse of the feud after 2 decades.
Austin came out after the match and delivered Stunner to everyone that were involved in the segment including Vince McMahon. We got to see one of the best sold Stunners as well as the worst ever Stunner. The best one was taken by Austin Theory, and the worst one was delivered to Vince McMahon. He totally failed to sell the Stunner. It had been highly criticized as well, but the fans and the critics went a little easy on it since McMahon is a 76 year old man.
Kurt Angle who is a former six times World champion in WWE recently spoke on his Kurt Angle show where he talked about the botched Stunner Vince McMahon received from Stone Cold Steve Austin and called it a disaster. He said;
“I gave him a hug and said good luck to him. I didn’t see him afterward. I’m sure he was a little pissed off about Vince and the way he took the Stunner. Yeah, it was crazy because Austin was chugging these beers and you could see his lips say ‘That motherf***er.’ Vince’s timing was just bad.
“You know, he didn’t know when the jump. He didn’t know where you’re gonna go down, up and down. He just thought you’re gonna go up and down and with Austin, he didn’t expect the boot to the gut, he thought he’s just gonna Stun him.
“So when Steve booted him, Vince went to his knees… Steve had to pick him back up and then he tried to get him and Vince backed up into the ropes, and he bounced off the ropes. It was like a disaster.”
