Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is a six times World Champion in WWE and former six times TNA World Heavyweight champion recently looked back at the rivalry between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. He said that both Austin and McMahon were great improvisers.
The rivalry between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon was one of the most entertaining parts of the WWE Attitude Era. During that time WWE and WCW went head to head every Monday on the same television time. This rating war is famously known as the Monday Night Wars.

Kurt Angle Says Steve Austin And Vince McMahon Were Great Improvisers
WCW started with the dominant lead over WWE when it all began since WCW had most of the big names in professional wrestling back in the time. WWE lost some of their biggest names including “The Hitman” Bret Hart which was a huge blow for the promotion.
But WWE did not lose hope. They came out with something totally new, a boss vs employee rivalry. Today, it is nothing new, but back then it was something that nobody ever saw in professional wrestling.
Most of the Americans were fed up with their arrogant Bosses. Steve Austin beating the hell out of Vince McMahon was something that every suffering employee dreamt of doing to their Boss. So this storyline became extremely popular.

One of the key parts of the story line was its unpredictability, something that is completely gone from today’s professional wrestling, especially WWE. WWE was coming up with something new almost every week in this storyline and it was getting more and more interesting each and every week.
To this date the Austin-McMahon rivalry will remain one of the best feuds in the history of professional wrestling. And this feud is one of the major reasons why WWE was able to triumph WCW in that time.

Kurt Angle is a six times World Champion in WWE and former six times TNA World Heavyweight champion recently spoke on the Kurt Angle Show where he looked back at the rivalry between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. He said that both Austin and McMahon were great improvisers. He said;
“It’s a quick walkthrough, it lasts one minute. Vince brings you to his office, he says ‘Listen, we’re going to do this promo. I say this, you say that, I’ll say this, we’ll be done.’ You go out there and you basically don’t go by the script, you have to improvise because we didn’t rehearse it enough to go by the script. Vince McMahon is more of an improv guy and he’s the best at it. The only other person that I know that’s just as good is Stone Cold, he was also a great improviser.”
