Lacey Evans has been a top heel in the WWE female roster since the beginning of her main roster run in the company. She played her heel character with reliability before taking some time off from WWE TV due to pregnancy. But then during her return, earlier this year, WWE wanted to utilize her Marine background and re-launched her as a babyface via which she received some huge props.
But then it was reported that a heel turn was in the weeks which finally happened this past week on Smackdown. Lacey Evans was booked to participate in a tag team match with Aliyah, who made her return to SmackDown from an injury this week. The two were scheduled to go up against Tamina and Shotzi in this tag bout.

But Lacey Evans finally showed her true colors as she blasted the fans for not giving her a standing ovation or cheers that were required for her. She re-tried her entrance three different times but things didn’t go better for her.
The WWE Smackdown Superstar then cut a promo and said that she always tried to motivate the fans with her inspirational story, but they never appreciated her. She then attacked a game Aliyah, ready for action with the Women’s Right before leaving the show and the match.
Lacey Evans is still transitioning to heel from babyface
After what transpired on Raw, a fan took to Twitter and stated that Lacey Evans’ gimmick is better than Roman Reigns. She noticed the tweet and replied to the fan, stating that she is indeed better than the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, as you can see below.

In the meantime, The Lady of the WWE is also trying to retain her heel character, as much as possible on social media and also spread the hate by attending the WWE Live Events. The latest one of them took place in Sacramento, California where Lacey Evans and Shotzi were defeated in a Triple Threat Match by Raquel Rodriguez.
By taking to Twitter, the recently turned heel expressed her hatred toward California with the following comments,
