Mick Foley is one of the most entertaining characters of WWE’s Attitude Era who made a name for himself performing in the hardcore matches. Fans love him to a big extent and hence they always want to see him in a certain capacity. However, due to health reasons, the legendary superstar himself isn’t willing to make an appearance in the WWE.
During the first-ever episode of the Foley is Pod podcast, the former WWE Champion revealed he currently weighs over 300 pounds at the age of 56. This is something that WWE won’t feel comfortable about. Vince McMahon, in particular, wouldn’t want him around TV unless he gets in slightly better shape.
How WWE Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin Spend July 4th?
Mick Foley’s last appearance on WWE television came during The Undertaker’s WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony during WrestleMania 38 weekend in Dallas, Texas. For the time being, that should stay as his last appearance on TV.
“I’m going to break some news here, I’m not going back on WWE television until I’m under 300 [pounds] because I feel like I’ve let Vince down,” Mick Foley said.
“Even if he gets on the phone with me personally and says ‘Mick we’d like to have you back,’ cause I’ve said no on a couple of occasions. I did come back for Undertaker, but I’ve put on a ton of weight since then, too, because … I took my responsibility to keep my local eateries in business during the pandemic seriously!” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Mick Foley had an illustrious career in the WWE
As noted above, Mick Foley is a bonafide first-ballot WWE Hall of Famer for all the rightful reasons. He has been synonymous with changing personas throughout his career years. Starting with Mankind, he transformed from Dude Love to Cactus Jack in order to become synonymous with the word sports entertainment.
For most of his career, the Hardcore Legend stayed over the 250-pound, carrying around extra weight but that didn’t stop him from taking some of the most devastating bumps in the history of this business. He wants to go back to a similar shape to his active days before making the comeback, it seems.
Mick Foley also served as the general manager of Raw in 2016 before being relieved of his duties by Stephanie McMahon at the beginning of 2017. Afterward, he was also written off television due to an attack by The Fiend Bray Wyatt.
