There’s no timeframe set over when we might see Liv Morgan back on WWE TV but whenever that happens, we are likely to get to see her in a renewed look. While recovering from a shoulder injury, the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion has teased debuting a new look. Over on Twitter, she made a post that didn’t have any caption or clear indication about anything.

The no-caption tweet from Liv Morgan did garner a lot of attention since it simply showed a mass of cut hair, suggesting that the top WWE Superstar is moving away from trademark blonde locks by cutting her hair and thereby trying something new. The shredded pile of hair did raise the question that there could be a drastic change to her hairstyle when she next shows up on WWE TV.

Liv Morgan dealing with injuries for the better part of 2023

The year 2023 saw ups and downs for Liv Morgan who became champion, twice only to vacate the titles due to unfortunate injury reasons. Originally, the injury occurred in her and Raquel Rodriguez’s WWE Women’s Tag Team title defense on May 12 against Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green just a month after the pair won the titles.

Liv Morgan and Rodriguez were forced to vacate the titles. However, in a rematch, they won those belts back at Money in the Bank on July 1. Liv was then attacked on the July 25 episode of Raw by Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, which was reportedly a way to write her off TV as she deals with the shoulder issue, possibly the old one. There is currently no update on her impending return.

If the earlier reports are to go by then the injury was bad enough to undergo surgery as noted by Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall. As stated below, WWE didn’t expect the former champion to be back until the end of the summer,

“WWE sources told Fightful they expect Liv Morgan to “at least be sidelined through the summer. We don’t have a further update beyond that.”

But the former Riott Squad member showed up two weeks prior to Money in the Bank to get herself booked for the UK PLE for a championship win. However, the run had to end again after a few weeks as the injury continued to give her trouble.
