Mandy Rose has proven herself to be a beauty with wrestling skills during her NXT stint which was not the case during her main roster run. Entering the fray back in 2017, she was mostly seen as a former WWE Diva-like figure must like Nikki Bella who was also considered in a similar way. But then she proves everyone wrong by becoming a pioneer figure in the WWE women’s locker room.
It’s safe to say that Mandy Rose is moving through the trail that the elder Bella blazed and it would be a nice occasion if these two ever square off in the ring. This comes after the NXT Women’s Champion wore ring gear that made the fans believe that she paid homage to Bella. Rose previously made it clear that the tribute was not intentional.

During an appearance with Chris Vin Vliet, she once again reflected on that topic by doubling down on the fact that she was intentionally cosplaying the WWE Hall of Famer. While dressing up on that night, Mandy Rose admittedly expected to get compared with her and the internet did end up getting blown with the similarities in their gears,
“I had the outfit on; backstage, obviously, we were all saying it. And I was like, ‘Okay, do I look way too much like Nikki right now? I’m definitely going to get ripped on the internet. But everyone was like, ‘Yeah, who cares? You are like, owing to her legacy, right?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, why not?’ So, yeah, and that’s what happened. We knew the internet was going to go there.”

Moving on in the conversation, Mandy Rose was asked by the host whether she would like to face Nikki Bella in a match somewhere down the line. In response, she elaborated on how there’s a backstory attached to the potential match. Apart from getting tons of attention for their gorgeous appearance, they wanted to get respect as wrestlers, after all.
“We have a little bit of similar backgrounds in the sense because she obviously had paved the way for us, definitely during the Divas time, the Women’s Revolution, and all that. So, I feel like there’s some kind of similarity with the both of us because she wants to have people respect her more and she did gain that respect over the years, but in the beginning, it wasn’t maybe so much like that. So, there is a little story there.”
Mandy Rose has been the NXT Women’s Champion since October 26, 2021, making her the third longest-reigning champion in the brand’s history just after Asuka and Shayna Baszler. After a not-so-successful story on the main roster, the strong run on NXT 2.0 was a redemption story for her in a career retrospective.
As for Nikki Bella, she was a part of the WWE Divas division when the least opportunities were there for the female talents of the company. After thriving for several years, she finally emerged as the longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion in history. Plus, she is also considered a pioneer figure in WWE Women’s Evolution.
