Mandy Rose used to be a bonafide star in WWE NXT 2.0 era for more than a year starting in the fall of 2021. With Vince McMahon getting back charges on the third brand of the WWE, he wanted to reestablish the former Fire n Desire member from the main roster by tagging her with two emerging talents, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

The plan worked so well that NXT 2.0 produced arguably the greatest female faction of all time in the form of Toxic Attraction led by Mandy Rose. The leader also went on to become the third-longest reigning NXT Women’s Champion of all time after becoming champion for 413 days. Her accolade could have become bigger if not the sudden release would turn out to be an issue.

As per the earlier reports from late last year, Mandy Rose was let go from her WWE contract due to non-PG content she posted behind her premium content paywall. Reports also claimed that she was not even allowed to take down those premium content before her WWE release.

Mandy Rose doesn’t want to use the word retirement for her

Previously, Mandy Rose noted that a WWE return isn’t totally out of the card but she isn’t thinking about it or any kind of wrestling-related projects as of right now. During one of her Q&A sessions on social media, the former Golden Goddess was asked about her retirement plans after her WWE release.

The question was asked since she’s been away from the ring for a long time but Mandy Rose made it clear that she has no intention of retiring from the ring. But at the same time, she made it clear that she has no instant planning to come back to competition in or outside the WWE,

“I don’t know if ‘retires’ is the right word, but I’m not doing it right now. I don’t know about the future. Pretty busy right now, doing a lot of things and all is well, so.”

It’s safe to say that the 32-year-old former NXT Superstar was one of the most decorated wrestlers for that particular brand who made an impact throughout the business with her all-around abilities. After dominating the female section of NXT for over a year, Mandy Rose was released from the company on the 14th of December, 2022 the day after she dropped the NXT Women’s Title to Roxanne Perez.
