Mandy Rose was one of the biggest forces on the NXT 2.0 roster. After having a not-so-successful stint on the main roster, she was put in a key position on NXT and she ended up dominating the scene with The Toxic Attraction members Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. They ran the NXT Women’s division by becoming multi-time women’s champions but that hot streak is now over.
Due to a lot of improvement in recent months in her skills, many fans believed that Mandy Rose and her cohorts were on the verge of being called up to the main roster. But to the shock of the WWE Universe, she was released from WWE out of nowhere due to the habit of spreading NSFW content on her webpage. She knew those premium content could get her in trouble but that thought didn’t stop her from entertaining the fans.

Fans were shocked to learn Mandy’s release from WWE
Hardcore fans of the former WWE talent were shocked to learn that Mandy Rose would be released from her contract for such a reason. After holding the NXT Women’s Championship for nearly a year, the controversy also caused her to finally drop the title to Roxanne Perez. Fans and peers are constantly urging to bring her back to the Women’s division and WWE head honcho Triple H is also not ruling it out.
WWE tried to tweak Mandy Rose’s release stort
However, it also appears that WWE tried to twist the narrative regarding her release. Sean Sapp reported from behind Fightful’s paywall that the WWE tried to float the news that it was Mandy Rose, herself who had asked for her release.
“There were some WWE sources that were at least trying to leak that Mandy Rose had requested her release two weeks ago, but so far, we’ve not been given any indication that’s true.”
Mandy Rose signed a five-year deal with WWE
Fightful Select has also reported that Mandy Rose previously signed a five-year deal with WWE in 2019 and hence, she should have stayed with the WWE for two more years left if the release wouldn’t happen. The source also dismissed the rumors that the former leader of Toxic Attraction had requested her release two weeks ago.
“Mandy Rose was one of many WWE talent that were signed to new, five-year deals in 2019, which means she had nearly two years left on her contract at the time of the release. There were some WWE sources that were at least trying to leak that Mandy Rose had requested her release two weeks ago, but so far, we’ve not been given any indication that’s true.”
Other top promotions targeting Mandy Rose for a signing
NXT audience let alone the mainstay audience will miss Mandy Rose in the WWE. Being such a popular superstar, she’s also being advised to be hired by Tony Khan in AEW, or else Impact Wrestling will also be waiting to get her under their banner. But the WWE Universe would certainly like to see her back onboard as soon as possible.
