WWE Hall of Famer The World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry who is also a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently remembered on hanging up on the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment Vince McMahon.

Mark Henry started his professional career as a professional weight lifter. He had an amazing record in weight lifting. He joined the world of professional wrestling in 1996 by holding the hands of WWE. In a short amount of time, he became quite famous among the WWE fans.

Mark Henry Talks Hanging Up On Vince McMahon

In spite of having an excellent physic and great wrestling abilities, he was mostly seen as a lower mid card and a mid card by WWE. His first gimmick in WWE was not of the World’s Strongest Man, it was the gimmick of the Sexual Chocolate.

He got his first big push after twelve years of his arrival in WWE. He won the ECW World Championship in 2008 after beating the then ECW World Champion Kane.

He won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2011 at Night of Champion’s pay per view event of the same year by defeating the then wwe world heavyweight champion Randy Orton. He was even selected to beat the legendary streak of the Undertaker but he refused.

“The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry who is also a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently during an appearance on AEW Unrestricted where he remembered on hanging up on the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment Vince McMahon. He said;

“I started getting calls from people that were fans, one of which was a guy named Milo Snyborn, who was a lifting guy, but he also wrestled a little bit. He got me in contact with Vince [McMahon], and Vince called me one day.

“I thought it was one of my friends I watched wrestling with joking, so I hung up on him. He was like, ‘That’s not the first time that happened.’ I came into the business and he invited me to Connecticut, and I never left.”
