Professional wrestling legend and former 11 times Tag Team champion in WWE Matt Hardy who is also a former two times TNA World Heavyweight champion recently remembered Vince McMahon shaving his hair bald in 2007 as a part of a storyline.

In 2007, Vince McMahon had a storyline feud with none other than Donald Trump himself. Of course, they did not get involved in a match by themselves but they had their representatives to fight. Bobby Lashley was the representative of Donald Trump where the late great Umaga was the representative of Vince McMahon.

The feud went on till WrestleMania 23 and this feud was promoted as the Battle of the Billionaires. The condition of the match was, the loser of this Battle of the Billionaires had to shave his hair bald on the same night. Bobby Lashley defeated Umaga in this match and it was a pretty good match.

As per the condition, Vince McMahon had to shave his hair bald. The feud might had been pretty interesting but hardcore could easily predict the outcome of the match as soon as this condition was added. A person like Donald Trump will never shave his head just for a WWE storyline. It would have been a big humiliation if he accepted it. So it was pretty obvious that Vince McMahon was going to lose.

The feud between McMahon and Donald Trump ended after WrestleMania 23 but McMahon continued his feud with Bobby Lashley after this event since it was Lashley who helped Donald Trump to secure the victory over McMahon. It was a pretty fun feud which included a lot of things like the debut of Santino Marella and even an ECW title feud.

Matt Hardy who is also a former two times TNA World Heavyweight champion recently spoke on his “Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast where he remembered Vince McMahon shaving his hair bald in 2007 as a part of a storyline. He said;

“I mean, Vince was totally committed. He’s like, yes, shave it all the ring. I mean, Vince would always say that like, and you’d hear that expression about Vince all the time. Like, he never asked a talent to do something that he wouldn’t do, and I think he really tried to make an example of that, if it came to, like, I’m having this hair versus hair match.

“You know, this deal with Donald Trump. Like, if you’re gonna shave my head, you’re gonna shave it all the way down, and we’re going all the way bald, I’m fully committed, you know? So he was, he was big on setting an example, as far as like doing something that may be embarrassing or something that you have to step out of your comfort zone to do, he would be the first one to volunteer to do it.”
