Matt Hardy Talks About Jeff Hardy’s Recent Return To AEW
They have won more tag team championships together outside of WWE as well. They started to work as a tag team for the first time in 1993 and that was on the independent circuit. They have also work in different promotions while working on the independent circuit including in WWE. But during this time they have mostly been treated as jobbers.
In 1998 they signed a professional contract with WWE. Instantly they have been started to be treated as a bug threat to the Tag Team division of WWE. In a very short amount of time they became really successful in the promotion and the fans just loved them. They have presented some of the best Tag Team matches of the Attitude Era.

They are not only legends of WWE but legends of professional wrestling, both as a team and singles competitors. Currently they are working on AEW, the team that is one of the biggest Rivals of WWE right now and there working as a team in AEW. He was arrested last year but was released and returned to AEW again.
Matt Hardy who is also a former two times TNA World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke on his Extreme Life podcast where he talked about the recent return of Jeff Hardy in the All Elite Wrestling. He said;
“This literally came together the last few days. We’ve been talking about this for a while. Jeff’s eye will take a while — I kept making jokes, ‘How did you fly here today, did you take a red eye? Ahahaha.’ — He still has blood in his eye. They said that would probably take six to eight weeks.

“I put it out there, ‘In six to eight weeks, he should be good.’ His vision is fine, his eyes are stable, they’re working in sync now. He got cleared at the end of last week to do stuff physically. We had an idea of bringing him in and interjecting him into this scenario.
“The segment cut a little short, but here’s a great spoiler, watch Rampage on Friday and you’ll find out where this match is going to be and who the official competitors are. Jeff will be involved, HOOK will be involved, Isiah (Kassidy) will be involved. You’ll find out who from The Firm we’ll face on Rampage.”
