One of the hottest sensations of the WWE Raw roster, Maxxine Dupri could soon end up becoming one-half of a couple in the company. When it comes to counting couples on the roster, there are quite a few given that they found love on the road while traveling with the company. One more could soon end up joining the spree.

It appears that Maxxine Dupri’s real-life boyfriend is set to participate in the SummerSlam tryouts that have now become an annual tradition for the WWE before the stadium PLE emanates. Before the 2023 edition goes down at Detroit’s Ford Field, Ringside News released an exclusive article to reveal some of the collegiate athletes who will be a part of the tryout and thereby try their luck at pro-wrestling, this weekend.

Summerslam 2023: How WWE PLE Brought Frustration Within Women’s Division

Among the released names set for the tryout, there will be Anthony Luke, a former San Diego State University defensive lineman who is also the real-life boyfriend of WWE Raw Superstar Maxxine Dupri. The latter has recently been showcasing her in-ring skills on Raw as a member of the Alpha Academy and we’re yet to have a comment from her regarding his boyfriend’s potential arrival to the WWE.

Apart from Maxxine Dupri’s boyfriend, there will be some more notable athletes like former University of Arizona and Texas Tech linebacker Colin Schooler, former USC track and field athlete and Team USA member Destinee Brown, and former Texas Tech and University of Central Florida track and field athlete Kaylor Harris. Time will tell how many of these names will eventually make it to the next class of Performance Center to join NXT.

Maxxine Dupri made quite the impression since making her main roster debut

As Sofia Cromwell, Maxxine Dupri initially debuted as a member of WWE’s new talent initiative, working in the NXT brand before getting the call-up to the main roster in July 2022 as Maxxine Dupri. Eventually, she became a mainstay of Monday Night Raw and one of the main reasons behind The Alpha Academy’s babyface turn.

Then on the July 31 episode of Raw, Maxxine Dupri finally made her singles in-ring debut against Valhalla. Despite the momentary advantage due to ringside shenanigans, the debutant sealed the win after connecting with a Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex which was a matter of discussion on the internet.
