Maxxine Dupri is one of the only few talents present in the current WWE roster who could resemble the past Divas era. Coming from a completely non-wrestling background, she got good trainers in the form of Alpha Academy to pick up some legit wrestling skill sets which she now wants to capitalize on.

Meanwhile, it’s also no secret that Maxxine Dupri has been a fan of the previous WWE Divas division and the Total Divas reality TV series that was born out of it. During a recent interview, she sounded keen on squaring off with one of the star powers that Total Divas used to have that’s WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella (aka Nikki Garcia).

There have been instances where the likes of The Miz, Ronda Rousey, and more got featured in the world of reality TV series and Maxxine Dupri is also keen on entering that list. Speaking in an interview with the Lightweights Podcast, she revealed of doing reality TV series only if it’s Total Divas,

“Say less, I’m in. For Total Divas, of course. I’m ready to play, let’s go.”

Maxxine Dupri hopeful about WWE bringing a reality TV series

Speaking of Total Divas, the popular show ran from 2013 to 2019 delivering nine seasons of drama featuring the female wrestlers of the WWE. It helped to bring out the star powers of Nikki and Brie Bella, Naomi, Natalya, and more while also connecting with the non-wrestling fans. WWE isn’t likely bringing back the show anytime soon but Maxxine Dupri claimed that she won’t be on any other reality unless it’s produced by the TKO-owned company.

“I would do reality TV if it’s for WWE otherwise I don’t see myself on reality TV just because I am like a very sensitive person and I’m very empathetic,” Maxxine Dupri admitted. “It would be very hard for me to like start a fight and ruin someone’s day and go to sleep that night. I cannot do that, I’d be overthinking for hours. If someone’s mean to me, tears are being shed.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

The process is still on for Maxxine Dupri about transitioning from a wrestling manager to a serious in-ring competitor which became evident as she was tagged with The Alpha Academy on WWE TV for months. A huge backlash was seen against her, recently on a live event which further helped the WWE to bring out her babyface version.
