Mickie James has certainly enjoyed an illustrious career in the WWE that someday will lead her into the Hall of Fame of the company. She is a six-time women’s champion in the history of the WWE and no one except Trish Stratus and Charlotte Flair has that accolade. Although she is no longer with the WWE, the mark she left won’t ever be erased.
The beginning days for Mickie James on WWE TV appeared to be pretty interesting where she played the character of an obsessed fan of Trish Stratus. After a long story-telling, the angle produced an epic match between the two of them at Wrestlemania 22.
In perhaps the most memorable moment of her career, Mickie James defeated her idol to become the new WWE Women’s Champion on that night. It appears that James herself was behind innovating this extremely catchy storyline that went on to become infamous in WWE.

While speaking on The CLS Experience with Craig Siegel, Mickie James talked about her first meeting with Vince McMahon. It was revealed that she, herself pitched the ‘super fan’ gimmick to McMahon since she was instructed by WWE senior producer Michael Hayes to do so. The multi-time women’s champion narrated the scary experience with WWE Boss since she was meeting him for the very first time.
“This is backstage, I’m like in Columbus, Ohio, driving up from Louisville which is the developmental territory OVW at the time and I’m like, ‘I don’t know if I can do this.’ The whole time I’m sitting outside of Vince’s office I’m like, ‘I feel like I’m gonna vomit.’ It was the scariest — if you’ve never met the man in person, he’s so — he has this aura about him and he’s so powerful and so intimidating but yet so genuine and real. He’s always been kind and genuine to me and I’m just like, I was terrified for my life,” explained Mickie James.

The veteran wrestler was released from her WWE contract in mid-April which appeared to be a shocker. The company was keeping her on the sidelines although she always wanted to wrestle. Now she has some plans to prove everyone wrong who doubted her. There’s no confirmed update on where’d Mickie James would be heading, next once the no-compete clause expires.
