Lana has been released by the WWE on June 2nd alongside the likes of Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, and some more main roster talents. The fact that she was a mainstay name on Monday Night Raw, appeared to be a huge shocker for the fans that the company released her without any prior indication or issues. She even wrestled on the weeks of getting released.
Since then, Lana spoke about spilling the tea over her WWE release but she hasn’t spoken about her next destination. EX AEW TNT Champion Miro formerly known as Rusev has been married to the former WWE Superstar for over half a decade. After their separate releases from WWE, Miro has already joined AEW which obviously brings the possibility of his wife eventually joining the brand, down the road.

While speaking to Action Sports Jax to promote this week’s episode of Dynamite “Homecoming,” Miro opened up about whether or not Lana would be interested in joining AEW. Going by his words, it’s all about what his wife wants to do in life. The good thing is that she might just opt to stay in the professional wrestling circuit, after all.
“Currently, she’s doing her own thing. It’s not about me. It’s about what she wants to do. She’s been in the business for such a long time and came fresh out of nowhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if she stays in wrestling because there are so many opportunities coming because she’s one of the best.”

Lana is a celebrated name all-around social media as well as on the mainstream circuit due to a number of ventures outside the wrestling world. Hence, Miro also stated that he won’t be surprised if his wife continues to portray her multi-dimensional persona,
“Outside of wrestling, she could always go because before wrestling, she was something else. My mind is blown if she decides to focus on a different career path how successful that would be.” (quotes courtesy Fightful)
Miro is the former AEW TNT Champion who has previously tried to pull the plugs to bring Lana, to the Tony Khan-owned brand. At present, there’s no update whether the company is interested to sign the ex-Ravishing Russian of the WWE. Currently, she is going through the 90-day no-compete clause which will be over, soon.
