Within a few weeks’ time, WWE is heading back to Saudi Arabian soil to host yet another Wrestlemania-esque event in the form of Night of Champions 2023. These events generally call for big appearances in the form of legendary WWE Superstars and marquee names from the regular roster members. Also, Saudi fans and authorities often demand some particular names to be on the shows.
Although Alexa Bliss isn’t making appearances on WWE TV, she was reportedly needed for Night of Champions 2023 which called for her return on TV. Boozer 666, an online news broker stated that the multi-time champion’s services were needed for Saudi Arabia for the upcoming pay-per-view and fans will probably see her pop up just after Backlash gets over.

Hence, with the builds starting for Night of Champions 2023 over on this week’s Raw, several fans expected the popular superstars to pop up on TV and possibly face the reigning women’s champion on the red brand, Rhea Ripley. To their dismay, there was no bliss but rather Natalya who teased a possible feud with The Eradicator of Judgment Day.

Now that, there’s still no sign of Alexa Bliss, the question regarding her status is still being nurtured. Being a popular superstar, fans won’t stop asking about her current status. Boozer666 was again asked behind his private Twitter about the top superstar, and he revealed that there are no plans for her until after Night of Champions 2023,
“Theres still doubt for Alexa to be part of the Saudi roster. After NOC she will resume tv.”
This doesn’t come as a surprise as Ringside News already asked around about Alexa Bliss, and they were told that her name hasn’t come up at all during WWE creative meetings. She was around for WrestleMania, but she wasn’t simply used due to a lack of creative plans. Only time will tell when they bring her back but it may not happen in time for Night of Champions 2023.
In her absence, Rhea Ripley will dominate the Raw roster as the reigning champion and rumors have that she might possibly face Natalya Neidhart at Night of Champions for the Smackdown Women’s Championship (or for the Raw Women’s Championship if a title swap with Bianca Belair takes place in due course).
