A history-making night went down from Saudi Arabia in the form of the returning Night of Champions 2023 premium live event, last night. A lot of news is available coming out of the event including a new World Heavyweight Champion in Seth Rollins while the historic title reign of Bianca Belair also ended in a dramatic fashion. Plus, the Legend of Trish Stratus continued against Becky Lynch as she also gained help from her new ally, Zoey Stark.
Becky came for a fight at Night of Champions 2023 and she was inching closer to a win when the new NXT import into the main roster ruined the day for her. Joining Trish Stratus, she helped the seven-time women’s champion to pick up a win against her current rival. In the process, a long-lasted streak in the WWE has also ended.

By defeating Becky at Night of Champions 2023, Trish Stratus broke her 17-year-old streak of not winning a singles contest in the WWE. Her last such win came during her original retirement match at the Unforgiven 2006 PPV event in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada where she defeated Lita to win the WWE Women’s Championship and retire as a champion.
WWE Night of Champions 2023: Trish and Becky reacted after their match
Trish tweeted the following about her win “The ?> The Man #WWENOC”. The below-given photo was also posted to make a mockery out of Big Time Becks. In response, Becky put up a picture of her busted open face from Night of Champions 2023 and clearly stated having “unfinished business” with the self-proclaimed GOAT.
Becky hit the Manhandle Slam on Trish in their match at Night of Champions 2023 and went for the cover, but Trish put her leg on the ropes to break the pin attempt. Zoey Stark came out from under the ring and hit Becky with her finisher which busted open Becky’s face. Trish then hit her finisher on Becky to pick up the win.
The storyline between Becky and Trish will continue following Night of Champions 2023 as PWInsider reported behind their paywall that Trish Stratus is slated to be at WWE Raw, this week to tell more about her new alliance with Zoey Stark,

Becky Lynch should also be there on Raw as she’d be eyeing payback against the heel veteran. Becky vs. Trish match no. 2 is expected to go down at Summerslam 2023.
