Although her relationship with Artem got strong, the time of her walking down the aisle got postponed, time and time again. Then during a special episode of her podcast, “The Bellas Podcast,” titled “Kill a Rumor,” she went into further detailing around the situation. Nikki Bella stated on the podcast that she still intends to marry the professional dancer. The reason they are delaying their wedding plans are financial things they can’t control,
“I will be getting married, and I can’t wait. I do me, for me. So that means I’ll marry Artem when I want, for me and Teo and him, for my life. There are also things that Artem and I don’t talk about. Like, financially, we have so much more going on in our lives to think, for Artem and I, for the past two years, of putting our money into a wedding — it’s probably the main reason we’ve hesitated.”
Nikki Bella also revealed that they’re building a house that is costing three or four times more than they have initially thought of spending. There’s baby Matteo to whom the parents have to be focused, all the time which was cited as another reason why the ex Divas Champion may have not gone through the dream wedding.
