Nikki Bella has long been romantically involved with her Dancing with the Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev. The relationship buddied in 2019 as the two announced engagement at the beginning of 2020. In that same year, they also welcomed their first child to the world while their wedding got postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Finally, the two walked down the aisle in a ceremony in France on August 26th, 2022. In an event filled with drama like getting cold feet or finding the wedding dress just 30 minutes before the wedding, E Network got enough material to make the latest reality TV series named Nikki Bella Says I Do as fans got an exclusive inside look at the couple’s wedding.
Nikki Bella’s prior wedding was slated to get documented as she was previously engaged to John Cena as the latter proposed to her at WrestleMania 33 and she said yes. It was perhaps the most stunning personal affair of one superstar’s life but unfortunately, the couple later called off their engagement and canceled the wedding, which was slated to take place on May 5, 2018.

Artem has to ignore brutal comments from Nikki Bella fandom
Since all of these dramas also unfolded on TV via Total Bellas, the audience finds reasons to compare the two instances. However, they also often drag the two men from Nikki Bella’s life and started comparing them. Speaking on The Bellas Podcast, the former WWE Divas Champion admitted how Artem has to divert himself from listening to those comparisons,
“The one thing that has affected me the most recently is just all the hate Artem gets because they compare him [to Cena]. They’ll say things to him, and Artem will ignore it. Every now and then, he’ll make a comment to me and he’s like, ‘Gosh, your industry can be so brutal. The dancing industry is not like that.'”
Although Nikki Bella has appeared on TV via her reality TV series, she hasn’t been seen in the WWE since appearing for the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match, last year. She alongside her twin sister, Brie Bella admittedly wanted to go after the women’s tag team titles. But, however, with family being their priority, they might it difficult to commit back to wrestling even if it’s for a short-term stint.
