The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella and Brie Bella) were heavily promoted to appear at the Raw is XXX event during the Royal Rumble week. But they were eventually removed from the advertisements in the actual week of the show’s airing and they eventually didn’t show up at the event. This obviously brought in a lot of chatters from the fans given they are two of the most popular superstars of all time.
While speaking on Instagram Live session, Nikki explained why they didn’t appear on the 30th anniversary of Raw. It apparently happened after their heavy booking throughout the week, Monday through Thursday with her husband Artem Chigvintsev on a busy media schedule to promote the premiere of “Nikki Bella Says I Do” on the E Network.
Denying Plastic Surgery Allegations Ex WWE Star Saraya Says, “Nikki Bella Is Hot”
Nikki Bella stated that it’s a WWE-owned show, and this is the reason that the company has been promoting the show along with trailers every now and then. Rumors continue to swirl regarding the twins’ absence, possibly due to some kind of rift with the WWE. But that’s not true given what the elder Bella had to offer via the below comments,
“We were hoping, I think it was weeks ago, we were talking about going to Raw. They said they had nothing for us. We were booked on media on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and then there was maybe an idea,” Nikki Bella continued.
“Our whole team, including WWE and everyone else, had booked us for Monday in New York. Whatever you see of stuff, all of a sudden, stories change; that’s to clean up and throw it on people, nope. We had all these commitments per the company we work for and everyone else. I know people like to throw it on people, but I’m not going to let that happen.”

Brie and Nikki Bella had a lot to say on WWE female superstars not featuring on Raw is XXX show
After Raw is XXX went off the air, both Brie and Nikki Bella spoke on Instagram, noting the lack of women’s segments on the show despite the fact that they have been a key part of WWE’s flagship program. Becky Lynch and Bayley were scheduled to compete in a cage match on the show, but that match was cut short due to The Tribal Court segment going on for a long time. This also led to the hashtag “WWEWomenDeserveBetter” trending on Twitter after the show.

Nikki Bella also said in her comments that she loves the fans for supporting the women and said it wasn’t them but rather the fans who brought up this important issue. It wasn’t about the past women in the company but rather the active roster members who should have been featured on the show,
“I understand why so many people are upset, especially our fans when it’s something like Raw 30.”
Nikki Bella alongside Brie, last appeared on WWE programming at the 2022 Royal Rumble premium live event as they competed in the 30-superstar women’s Rumble match.
