In her book, Incomparable, which Nikki Bella wrote alongside her sister Brie, she discussed her relationship with a WWE star who she was with, before moving on to John Cena. While the exact name wasn’t mentioned by the former WWE Divas Champion, it was mentioned how that wrestler cheated on her with one of her own buddies in the women’s locker room.
Per Nikki Bella, the two of them entered into sort of an adult relationship for a year but then she discovered messages on her then-boyfriend’s MySpace account from another woman who also appeared to be a female WWE wrestler and one of her closes friends,
“He thought very little about protecting my feelings. I think he thrived on that gray area, that middle ground, where I was constantly left questioning the boundaries of our relationship with a big ‘What the hell are we?’”
“The messages were from one of my closest friends at WWE — a girl who had come to San Diego to see my family with me two nights before she apparently banged my man for the first time.”
Dolph Ziggler was also seen expressing his feeling about Nikki Bella during Total Divas. The two have since moved on and are on good terms. Ziggler still is a regular performer on WWE Raw while the Bellas occasionally arrive on WWE TV. The two are said to be retired from competition but they’re still vouching for one last stint in the company.
