By the end of the match, Nikki Bella shocked the WWE Universe by turning on her sister and costing the match. In the follow-up, the twins had multiple verbal and physical altercations on Raw, Smackdown, and PPVs. One of their segments involved Jerry Springer which also ended in chaos.
It happened on the August 25 edition of WWE RAW, where the two sisters confronted Jerry Lawler acting as a moderator. The villain Bella vented out frustrations about how she hated her twin sister for her success in or outside the ring. During a heel promo segment, she delivered the unthinkable words,
“As far as I’m concerned, I have no sister. I wish you died in the womb!”
Within WWE’s PG-TV, those kinds of comments especially between two sisters were just shocking. Being a top heel of the company, Nikki Bella left no stone unturned in humiliating Brie in association with Stephanie McMahon. It all came down to Hell in a Cell where Nikki defeated Brie to make the latter her Personal Assistant for 30 days. Within a few days, the Bella Twins were back as a team and dominating the WWE Divas division.
