It’s a good thing for WWE that several superstars from the active roster have re-signed with the company despite outside competitions.
AEW appeared to be a huge competitor back at the beginning of this year throwing a challenge for the WWE officials.
The superstars received a second choice except for WWE when it comes to choosing a brand. But it looks like, Nikki Cross is the latest name who believes in the WWE.
It looks like that former NXT superstar has reportedly signed a multi-year contract extension with WWE.
Originally reported by Squared Circle Sirens, Nikki Cross has signed a new deal that will see her stay a part of the company for an undisclosed number of years.
Women superstar overcomes alcoholism
This does not come as a surprise as WWE utilized her quite well ever since she entered the main roster, last year.
Nikki Cross is a SmackDown Superstar following this year’s 2019 WWE Draft as FOX officials chose her on the blue brand. She originally signed with the WWE promotion in 2016.
She made a name for herself among the WWE Universe as a member of SAnitY during her time in NXT. The crazy persona was intact until WWE brought her to the main roster.
Alexa Bliss’ career in jeopardy, again?
Nikki Cross made her official main roster debut last year to shed off the earlier gimmick and started teaming with Alexa Bliss.
The two of them eventually became WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, holding those belts for 62 days. They lost it back to the current champions,
The Kabuki Warriors – Asuka and Kairi Sane at the Hell in a Cell PPV event. Since then, Cross is on the hunt for the SmackDown women’s championship.
At present, Nikki Cross is scheduled to compete at this Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. She will represent SmackDown by teaming up with Sasha Banks, Carmella, Dana Brooke, and Lacey Evans.
They compete against both Team RAW and Team NXT in a traditional three-way Survivor Series elimination match.
Team RAW features Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Sarah Logan. NXT members are yet to be disclosed, to date.
Survivor Series takes place on Sunday, November 24th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
