Since her debut, Nikkita Lyons has been touted to be one of the up-and-rising superstars of the WWE of NXT roster. Living up to her potential, she indeed made a huge impact upon her debut in February 2022 on the developmental territory. She quickly moved to the mid-tier of the women’s roster by taking on the top superstars of the company including the former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.
Becoming one of the most popular stars in the white and gold brand, Nikkita Lyons was also expected to be in the title picture. However, her run has continuously been disrupted due to injuries. Her current stint came to a halt after suffering a second injury of the season. As seen in last week’s episode of NXT, she was a victim of a sneak attack by an anonymous person.

An injury angle was shown on NXT
On a sudden note, Nikkita Lyons was seen grabbing her ankle and screaming in pain in the infamous parking lot of NXT where a number of storylines were insinuated. Indi Hartwell and Lyra Valkyria immediately came to check on her while cameras also showed that Zoey Stark was leaving the parking lot at the same point to garner the blame on herself.
In an update to the situation, Nikkita Lyons took to Twitter on and revealed she had successful surgery following the attack. The self-proclaimed Lioness of NXT also thanked her fans for their support, and promised to return, stronger than ever,

Zoey Stark is supposed to be Nikkita Lyons’ attacker
Zoey Stark turned heel on Nikkita Lyons after the pair lost the NXT Women’s Championship match opportunity to Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Since their feud is yet to culminate, the general belief is that Stark should be behind the attack. Vic Joseph also revealed later during the show that Stark’s adversary was rushed to a medical facility after the sneak attack.
In reality, Nikkita Lyons was already injured, due to which, WWE had to set up an angle to write her off the TV. Apparently, she tore her MCL/ Meniscus which should keep her out of action for months. This time around, Stark reacted to her injury announcement with a jab as the hiatus could be long enough.
Over on Twitter, Nikkita Lyons also informed about the severity of her injury,
