Under a new banner, WWE premium live events are expected to go through a lot of changes shortly. The events are said to go through bidding processes so that top cities can secure those and earn some revenue while creating attention on behalf of the company.

With 2023 inching closer to an end, there are speculations about a possible WWE premium live event in the month of December. WWE usually used to deliver TLC in this slot for the better part of the last decade but things changed after Nick Khan took over the charges and implemented a better strategy in terms of WWE Network Specials.

With the Holiday season around, he was the one who scrapped any WWE premium live event for December. For a one-off occasion, WWE Day 1 was introduced on the first day of 2022 but that will seemingly remain a one-off occasion since it hasn’t returned in 2023 and nor will it return in 2024 January.

WWE premium live events in December are permanently scrapped?

BWE posted behind their X account to answer a fan question who wanted to if fans will see another WWE premium live event in between the Survivor Series in November and the Royal Rumble in January. The inside source breaker replied that there are still no plans for WWE to conduct a December pay-per-view event. However, they will still have weekly televised episodes of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Hence, it’s safe to say that WWE Universe will have to wait for almost two months for the next big event after Survivor Series.

Since no separate December pay-per-views have been conducted since 2021, it’s safe to say that this schedule will be the new normal in the company. It gives them an extra month to set things up for Royal Rumble but then sometimes things do occur as extra bit long.
