In the world of professional wrestling, featuring in competition isn’t everything to earn success and Brandi Rhodes is a sure-shot example of this notion. Despite not being a regular wrestler, she had the opportunity to work in five top pro-wrestling promotions of the world in her career which indicates her charismatic persona. The only other female wrestler to have that accolade is Maria Kanellis who had also left wrestling on a long shot.

It’s safe to say that Brandi Rhodes has become an extremely popular figure in this industry for a multitude of reasons. During the ending days on AEW television, no one even wanted to see her on social media, but that tough phase is over. With her husband Cody Rhodes returning to the WWE, fans were also ecstatic to see her back in the company but that’s not happening, at least in an in-ring capacity.

It appears that the former WWE in-ring interviewer’s in-ring career is officially over as she herself spelled it out during a recent interview. While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Brandi Rhodes was asked whether she has any intention of returning to the squared circle as a competitor. In reply, the former Eden Stills Rhodes made it clear that she’s done with dancing in the ring.

Brandi Rhodes not opposing the idea to feature in a TV angle with Cody Rhodes

But the door of showing up on WWE TV is still open if the creative team can offer her a good storyline where Brandi Rhodes could offer help to her husband. Just like the other top couple in the WWE, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, the ex-AEW head honcho isn’t opposed to the idea of sharing the screen space with Cody,

“You know, not as an active competitor. For sure. [You’ve retired as a wrestler?] Yeah, I mean, it was really anticlimactic. But yes, I did. I just said you know what? Okay, well, we are either gonna do this the Becky Lynch, you know, Seth Rollins way. And they are amazing for doing it, because I can’t. It just was too hard, well not too hard, but just something that I just didn’t think would be the best for the family.”

Brandi Rhodes has also mentioned how she’s taken a different route in her career by starting her own business ventures while Cody continues to pursue as a top babyface player on WWE’s Raw brand. Besides, she’s a mother which brings along a lot of responsibilities on her shoulder. That being said, her fanbase will continue to miss her seeing in action.
