Millions of John Cena fans were in shock after seeing their beloved Superstar in this tattooed avatar for the very first time and did not realize what it actually was, but no need to shock as he is not changing his persona inside the ring and this look is just for an upcoming movie role.
Cena has made quite a fame outside the ring as a movie star too and is being featured in the upcoming project named ‘Sisters’ which is directed by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. This is a comedy flick in which the Cenation leader transformed his look to get into the shoes of a drug dealer named Pazuzu. So he needed a complete makeover preparing for his role.
Recently in a video released in the WWE.com Cena has talked about his character in the movie. “The meaning for my character is simple – they need drugs,” Cena quoted. “And I’m a drug dealer. They ask us to hang out, which is probably the biggest mistake of his life. The party starts out pretty lackluster, then gets kind of cool, and then gets pretty crazy, and then becomes chaotic.” Watch out Cena in totally opposite persona from the real life as the movie hits theatres on December 18th.
As for his return in WWE, he was scheduled for a house show in Inglewood, California but got removed presently. He is now expected to return at the next Madison Square Garden live event on December 26th where he is scheduled to face Alberto Del Rio whereas his first date with Monday Night Raw will be December 29th which will be aired live from the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York.
