Paige’s professional as well as personal life has been immensely colorful. She rose to the top of stardom at a very young age to showcase the potential of carrying the company’s women’s division for years to follow. But then at the age of just 25, she was forced into an early retirement back in 2017 after an unfortunate neck injury.
Given WWE being strict about their medical policy, she had to stay out of in-ring competition for a long time. Paige kept herself busy with a variety of roles in WWE like being a manager before moving on to be an analyst for WWE Backstage on FOX. Afterward, she had a solid run on Twitch to become the highest earner on the platform as tallied among the professional wrestling superstars.

Then Paige announced that her WWE contract expired, earlier this year, affirming her WWE departure. She is also working to get booked in future shows, possibly in non-physical roles. The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion was simply let go of the WWE as the company decided not to re-sign her to a contract. Since then, she has become a free agent who has high hopes for herself in the future.

Paige wants to share more stories about her via a book
While speaking with Renee Paquette on The Sessions Podcast, Paige talked about the current projects that are keeping her busy. She revealed of working on a book about herself and she seems to be really excited about it. Years ago, a feature film has been made about her life and it’s certain that the journey has all the materials to be published in an autobiography.
“So like right now we’re gonna be we’re putting a book together so yeah, I’m really excited about that. I haven’t told anyone about the book yet. I’m like a cat, I have nine lives,” Paige continued.
“I mean, a lot of people haven’t been through what I’ve I’ve been through and It’s freaking crazy and like, I tried like people who don’t know me, if I tell I’m like, even like parts of it they’re just like ‘are you okay?’ I’m like I don’t think so. I’m glad I went through all that early because imagine having like a midlife crisis, I guess that’s around the corner soon anyways.”
It remains to be seen what the future holds for a successful superstar like her and she herself is excited to explore all the future opportunities. Paige obviously has a lot of untold and unheard stories to share with the world that we may haven’t experienced in the released movie.
Under the real name of Saraya, she has already made her first post-WWE public appearance during the late July weekend at Starrcast V, where she had her own panel. Plus, she will also appear at the World Association of Wrestling, the promotion run by her father, this October.
