Ending all the speculations regarding her future in professional wrestling, Paige has signed with All Elite Wrestling wrestling and made her first TV appearance for the promotion. With her real name Saraya, the former Divas Champion made AEW her debut on Wednesday’s weekly episode of AEW Dynamite following the scheduled women’s title match.
A fatal-4-way match took place on Dynamite that saw Interim AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm retaining her title over Dr. Britt Baker, Serena Deeb, and Athena (fka Ember Moon in WWE). Following the match, Baker was going to attack the champion and even her former tag partner Jamie Hayter came out to join in on the beatdown along with Deeb on Storm and Athena.

This is when that Paige came out to make the save by walking out. She never got physical in the ring but the heels got out of the ring. With the new name, Saraya, the surprising attendee saved Athena and Storm from a post-match beatdown at the hands of Baker and Deeb, and Jamie Hayter who actually intended to fall apart with Baker and her stable.

Paige returns to TV after almost three years
Just as Baker was about to apply the Lockjaw submission on Storm, Paige’s music hit the arena to send the pro-wrestling world into a frenzy. She did her signature “this is my house” scream before allowing Storm and Athena to stand with her in the ring. The three female wrestlers embraced in the ring as the crowd cheered them on.
Moments after this happened, AEW President Tony Khan tweeted out an All Elite graphic with Saraya present in it as she’s now officially become an All Elite. Due to her huge fanbase, the formerly known Paige expectedly got a huge pop from the fans who were willing to see her back on TV for a long time. At this point, it’s unknown what her role with the company would be. Fans obviously want her to wrestle again but that’s yet to be confirmed.

Paige has not featured in competition since December 2017 due to her neck concussion, spinal stenosis to be exact. She already missed a lot of time for this but it became public after she took a bad bump on the back of her neck by Sasha Banks during a six-woman tag team match. Moving on, the youngest reigning NXT Women’s Champion retired from in-ring competition in April 2018 since doctors never medically cleared her for action. This past July, she was released by the WWE.
