Paige was one of the most technical wrestlers in WWE’s female division back in her heyday. She was the only NXT Women’s Champion as well as the Divas Champion on the main roster, at one point for a reason. She delivered a number of great matches when her in-ring career was active. Unfortunately, that ended in a quick timespan due to a neck injury.
There’s no way that she doesn’t miss that great experience. After all, Paige was born to be a wrestler belonging to a professional wrestling family in the United Kingdom. She was recently reminded of that old feeling via social media. Although the match that took half a decade ago, it remains one of the best matches that she performed.

Paige Remembers Her Favorite Match From WWE Survivor Series

WWE posted a tweet and also shared a link to a video from a match that went down at 2015 Survivor Series. Paige and Charlotte Flair battled for the first time over the Divas Championship. The anti-Diva was the second challenger for The Queen’s title that she won a couple of months back from Nikki Bella.
Paige turned into a villain after disassociating herself from Team PCB that she built. So it was just a matter of time that Flair gave her a shot to the title, being a super babyface persona. Paige eventually tapped out at the end of their 14-minute match. But it was a great experience between two of the all-time great WWE female superstars.
Paige remembers how great it was to share the ring with the genetically superior athlete as she mentioned the following on Twitter,
“Damn 5 years.. @MsCharlotteWWE was always a pleasure to wrestle. she is one of the best to lace up a pair of boots.”

The feud between Paige and Charlotte Flair continued until December of that year as these two also had a championship match at TLC. Flair retained the belt in this very personal feud where she was insulted with her dead brother by her rival.
Paige had a failed attempt at regaining the Divas Title that also marked the downfall of her career. That was the last time, she has ever been involved in a proper championship feud. She can’t believe that five years have passed by since that match. She was thought to be one of the cornerstones of the female division but now she is fighting to keep her Twitch channel open after Vince McMahon released an edict to close those operations.
